Holidays:
The school will be closed on the following holidays:
· New Year's Day     · Independence Day   · Martin Luther King Jr. Day   · Labor day
· President's Day    · Thanksgiving Day & Friday Following   · Good Friday     · Christmas Day
· Memorial Day   · The school days between Christmas and New Year's
NOTE:  The school closes at 12:30 PM Christmas Eve
When a holiday falls on a Saturday, the school will be closed on the Friday before.  When a holiday falls on a Sunday, the school will be closed on the Monday after.

Vacations and Absences:
No credit on tuition shall be given for scheduled school holidays.
During vacation, tuition is due at your regular rate. Days absent may not be rescheduled.

Picking Up Your Child:
Rainbow Christian Preschool closes at 6:00 PM.  If your child is not picked up by 6:05 PM, we will start calling your home, work and the people listed on your registration form.  If for some reason you cannot call the school and we cannot reach anyone by 7:00 PM, we will call Children’s Protective Services at 1-(800)-540-4000.  They will send a representative for your child.

Be sure to let us know when you have a new job, you’ve moved, a new telephone number, and a telephone number of a friend or neighbor who lives close to you who is authorized to pick up your child in case of an emergency.

Because your children are our responsibility while at Rainbow Christian Preschool, the staff is instructed not to release a child to anyone who appears intoxicated.  In such a case, the State requires parents to make other arrangements for transporting the child.  Should a problem arise, police will be contacted.  If any staff member does not know the person picking up your child, they will be asked to show ID.  We also require a picture of each person whom you’ve authorized to pick up your child. 

Federal Law requires that anyone picking up a child must be 18 years or older and must sign their full name on the sign-out sheet.

All persons who may be bringing or picking up your child must be listed on the emergency form kept in your child’s file.
