Is over a cold, but a MINOR nasal drip remains 2. Has been on an antibiotic and is free from fever for 24 hours 3. Has a doctor's release form following an absence due to a communicable disease Emergencies: In the case of any accidental injury, we will make an immediate attempt to contact a parent. If we can't reach you, we will call the child's physician. If necessary, we will also call an ambulance or paramedics. It is to your child's benefit that you keep emergency phone numbers and other pertinent information current. Until the arrival of a parent, the physician, ambulance or paramedics, the Director or lead teacher will be in charge and make all the decisions about the care of the child. You'll be expected to assume responsibility for any resultant expenses. The school will maintain a parent's consent form agreeing to this provision. Medication Release: You need to sign a permit to administer medication if your child needs to take medication at school. When you arrive the director will check your child's throat. If you have medication, she will give you the release form to complete. Give the medication to her, and she will store it in the proper place and pin a tag on your child indicating that medication is needed.
