Rainbow Christian Preschool is a nonprofit, religious school registered with the state of California.  It is owned by the Village Covenant Church which is also a nonprofit religious corporation registered with the state of California.  The preschool is accredited by the Association of Christian Schools International. (ACSI)

The Bible curriculum centers on a systematic understanding of the events of the Old and New Testaments.  The person and work of Jesus Christ is the focus of the study.  Jesus is presented as King of kings, Savior and Lord of lords.

Our goal is to lovingly guide the children to do what Jesus wants them to do.  The teachers and staff are role models, who guide the children and discipline them.

We are a Christian preschool and as followers of Jesus, we are excited about teaching the children about Him.  We have a morning devotional every day and chapel two days a week.  At chapel we sing praise songs, have a special story and prayers.  The stories are usually from the Bible, but sometimes they are about a special event, ending with a Biblical Truth.
When children are disciplined, we talk to them about what God wants them to do, and we pray with them.  Children take turns praying at meal-time and devotional times.  They learn Bible verses and sing Christian songs.  We always practice Psalm 150, praising God with musical instruments, songs, dancing and clapping.

The focus of our Christmas program is always the birth of Jesus.  The pre-K classes put on a play about the birth as told in the gospels.
